By this I mean that there's no brushes or palettes to wash after painting. Because pastels come in sticks and pencils it seemed like a medium I personally would be able to create fine detail with. One of the reasons is that I can still use pencils! I've said before that I find it difficult with a brush to capture the detail I'd like as I can't seem to control a brush like I can a pencil. But we could not have been more disappointed! And the most frustrating thing is there is no customer service to help us resolve this issue.I thought I would share with you in this blog post about why I decided to have a go at pastel painting as one of my new mediums to try. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was a complete waste of money! The sad thing is this is something my daughter really wanted.
There is no number to call! Even more, they did not have anything that said do not bend on the envelope they sent. But here we are over two weeks later and have not had a response. We tried contacting them via email, telling them they messed up on our order and asking for a refund. We checked our order, and we had clearly sent pictures of the two different dogs. The second picture was a better picture of the one dog, but it had our other dog's name on it. The picture with the correct name on it was not good. She got two pictures of the same dog (with a different dog's name on each picture), rather than a picture of the two different dogs. When the pictures finally came the order was wrong. She did not ever get the pictures until right before Christmas. My daughter ordered two pictures of her two different dogs right after her birthday in November.
